Alcohol and Drug Addition Awareness

Alcohol and drug addiction is a major problem.  Even in our small corner of the planet here in the MethowValley, we all have seen the negative effects of these addictions.  If you think that you or someone in your family may have an addiction problem with drugs and/or alcohol, you should seek professional help.  It is much easier, safer, and better for everyone involved if you seek this advice from a professional on your own accord.  Unfortunately, many times the person that has this problem does not acknowledge or seek the help and by force of the police, counselors, through job loss, divorce, or bankruptcy the person has to find out.  The ones that do get the help are the fortunate ones.  Many times family members have to deal with the outcome of a drug or alcohol problem.  Sometimes the outcome ends in the loss of a life.  So, please drink responsibly, don’t abuse prescription drugs, and don’t use illegal drugs.  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact the Winthrop Marshal's Office at Winthropmarshals.com.
